Percy’s Ten Frame

Ten frames are used to encourage children to count and understand values of objects. They make counting values simpler. We can use them for composing and decomposing numbers in relation to 5 and 10. They help form the basis for understanding place value in the future

This product consists of four activities.

1. Representing a number up to 10 on a ten frame
2. Recognising an amount on a ten frame up to 10.
3. Representing a number up to 20 on a ten frame.
4. Recognising an amount on a ten frame up to 20.
